From writing and drawing her own comic books as a child to discovering her knack for video editing in her teens, Lauren is a creative by heart who is passionate about all things narrative and visual storytelling, be it through film, TV, books or games.
After graduating from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) with a Bachelor of Arts: Screen Production in 2024, she has worked for Wildbear Entertainment as a Post Production Intern and has continued to work as a freelance Editor on independent short film projects to present day. Her latest work ‘After Tonight’ is looking to enter the Australian festival circuit in 2026.
Lauren has produced several screen projects from 2022 - 2025. Most notably, ‘For Art’s Sake!’, a short documentary accepted as part of the 2024 AFTRS Documentary Showcase for SBS On Demand and ‘Something to Chew On’, which had a successful indie festival run in 2023 screening at Sydney Underground Film Festival and A Night of Horror International Film Festival, among others.

In 2022, Lauren was awarded the ATLAS Shorts Screen Excellence Scholarship for her creative achievement in the telling of diverse Australian screen stories for her short film screenplay ‘Beyond the Dragon Wall’ — a fantastical reflection of her experience growing up with mixed cultural identity in Australia.
